About Me

My name is Ani and I’m originally from Argentina but I consider myself a citizen of the world. I have lived in the UK, the US, France and Switzerland, and I hope to keep exploring this wonderful world we live in. I am currently based in Nottingham in the UK.

After a very difficult childhood, I found myself falling into unhealthy and unhelpful patterns of feeling and behaviour. For the last ten years, I have consistently worked on developing a relationship with something bigger than me which allowed me to heal and recover. I was able to do this using 12-step programs, developing my spirituality and undertaking a lot of trauma/inner child work.

I have vast experience with relationships programs such as ACA, Al-Anon, CODA, SLAA, as well as in AA, UA, RC, OA, FA, EDA and others since they were key parts of my recovery.

As an Early Years Educator (Level 5 Steiner Waldorf), I understand that the roots of many present difficulties lie in our early childhood. Part of the service I offer is inner child work since I fully embrace the idea that we can only get rid of a symptom by dealing with its root cause.

I believe in a holistic approach so over the past few years I have completed a wide range of training and courses that have given me more tools to support my clients. I have acquired a Practical Spirituality and Wellness Diploma (Spiritual Companion Trust), Holistic Life Coach and Mind-Body Practitioner Diploma (MBFI), Counselling Skills Intermediate Certificate (LCC&ST), Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate (E-Cornell University), and Reiki Level 1 Certificate. And I am a proud member of ACCPH (Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists in the UK) and IPHM (International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine). I’m also fully insured by Westminster Insurance.

Today, I can honestly and openly say that I love myself and everything I went through. I have found peace, forgiveness and purpose. Part of that purpose is to be of service to as many people as possible and to make my life a channel for healing.

I know that anyone can recover from anything they might have been through. I know that there is a healing force that can make a difference. The same force that makes the world go around and heal broken bones can bring about awareness and change.
